Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

4-HO-MiPT, is also known as Miprocin and  was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved - TIKHAL, the dosage range is listed as 12-25 mgs, and the duration listed as 4-6 hours, although other sources list the duration as 5-8 hours.

4-HO-MiPT produces "vivid and intense closed-eye imagery, time and spatial distortion, and out-of-body experiences".  Depending on how close you are to dying.

A description of the experience

TiKHAL – the continuation – Dr Alexander and Ann Shulgin

With 20mg of 4-HO-MiPT taken orally

Drifting in and out of the body is common ….a feeling of soaring in bodiless flight is experienced………... At times soaring clouds dominate the eyes closed scenery.  I cannot over emphasise the intensity of the experience.  I would not want to go much higher than 20mg

The source of the experience

Shulgin, Alexander
