I am quite excited because I have gone up instead of down!

I entered the column as usual and prepared to descend. My helpers, hugging together, blocked the way. I tilted my head back and looked up vertically. A yellow-orange shaft extended upwards, very bright at its furthest extent. I looked for a means to climb up: none was obvious. I stepped up the sides, steadying with my hands but there was no grip and I slid repeatedly down.

A low vibration started and I felt it through my feet and legs. It gained in intensity and my hips vibrated in sympathy. I found myself powering upward. It was as if a rotor was underneath me like a helicopter upside down.

I rose through the brightening shaft. Its walls closed in on me and were silky-smooth to the touch. In a sudden move I seemed to burst into a firmament of bright objects bathed in yellow luminescence. My own body was golden and bright, naked as usual. My hair was very long brushing around my waist.

I levelled into a horizontal position. Around me were large birds slowly gliding on long wings - eagle eyes trained down. I looked and saw peaks penetrating a shrouding mist. The peaks were crag-like with sharp shadows. The gliding birds and I seemed to range far over these peaks.

Suddenly a group of small black beings arose through the mist-shroud making a terrible noise like many saws on wood, loud. They flew in a menacing body towards me. The gliding birds dispersed in alarm. I steeled myself to repel the threat from below. I seemed to make myself bigger and took it upon me to contort my face and stare with large eyes at the rising black host. They swirled around me with evil vibes. I hovered firmly and menacingly.

A sudden wind arose very violently and loud noises came and went with flashing lights.
