I have had experiences of consciously leaving my body in my sleep-state and travelling rapidly and horizontally through the air as though I were being upheld. ... Just before I know I am going to leave my body, I get a sense of vibrating to a higher set of vibrations. When I am about to return to the physical (body) I get the feeling of dropping and, as I re-enter my body, I feel the distinct click in my heart and I awaken.
On one or two occasions I felt I was being shown some of the lower regions, like dark, damp dungeons and muddy swampy places.
