A description of the experience

The Book of Life – Roshi Jiyu-Kennett and Rev Daizui MacPhillamy

This is a mudra of general relaxation and ease.  It is particulalry helpful when tension cnetres in the neck, shoulders, chest and stomach or blocks the lung, pericardium or triple warmer meridians.

Since it is done in the seated position. the ease mudra can be used when it is undesirable or impractical to lay down. It combines the hand mudra of unity with the seated mudra of ease.

The positions of the fingers of the right hand connect the lung and either the pericardium or triple warmer meridians.  The position of the left hand tends to release tension in the neck.
