4.4. Destiny

So we now know what Destiny is.  Destiny is the sum total of the types of tasks that we will probably encounter in our life, along with the attributes we have allocated for those types of task.  In effect although our personality might be the sum total of them from birth to death, the use for them will only become apparent once that type of activity suddenly appears on the horizon.  So for example, here is our person A.

We don’t of course know the actual tasks we will be given in the Great Work, but we know from our horoscope what types of activity they will be and also what the special characteristics will be that make us suited to the task, so if we want to pursue a career, this gives at least a small clue as to what we might be good at.
